WELCOME to our medically supervised weight loss clinic. Our weight loss program consists of a three part weight loss strategy:
1) Diet/ Lifestyle Modification:
BOTTOM LINE: As Americans, we are OVER-FED and OVER-SALTED! Because of this, we have records rates of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and obesity.
We recommend eating high protein/ low carbohydrate foods. High protein foods include beef, chicken, fish, eggs, and cheese. The right combination of proteins will help you feel better, increase your energy level, decrease cholesterol and decrease blood pressure. Diets rich in protein help slow aging, as well as lower your blood sugar level. High blood sugar levels can cause your cells to struggle, and age prematurely. Balanced sugar levels give your skin a healthy glow, and help you feel great! Avoid all types of bread, pasta, rice, tortillas, potatoes, corn, fruits, and sugary products (sodas, fruit juices, sports drinks, milk, sweet tea, cookies, cakes, pies, muffins, and candy.)
We also recommend Intermittent Fasting. Please see attached pages.

2) Medications for appetite suppression:
Our weight loss program is very safe. We are utilizing prescription medications which have been established in the market now for more than 40 years. These medications are used to aid with appetite suppression. These medications are not to be administered to patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, suffer from glaucoma, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, untreated hyperthyroid, have a history of heart disease (i.e, Myocardial infarction, cardiac stents in place, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Congestive Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, etc. ) or history of stroke.
The prescribed appetite suppressant can cause some common side effects such as dry mouth, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, headaches, constipation, and insomnia. Ideally, this medication should be taken between 8:00 & 10:00AM, however you may take it earlier if you begin to experience insomnia. Drinking plenty of water can help with these side effects. Caffeine or other over-the-counter stimulants can make these side effects worse, and should be avoided.
If you are not a candidate for the prescription appetite suppressant, you may choose to try our supplemental appetite suppressant which is available with some of our weight loss packages.
3) Supplemental Injections:
We strongly recommend that you follow up with us at least every 7-14 days for monitoring of vitals, weight, and for supplemental injections.
Vitamin B12- B Vitamins are essential for the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates. They are extremely important in the optimal functioning of our bloods cells, brains, and nervous system. It has also been used for the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Depression. It is known to improve your energy, focus, memory and mood.
Lipoden- This injection is a combination of Adenosine Monophosphate (AMP) and Lipotropics. AMP is a building block used in your body to produce Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) which is energy. ATP is a key component of cellular metabolism, and in certain reactions necessary for proper fat and carbohydrate processing in the body. Lipotropics were formulated to decrease the deposition of fats in the liver and speed up the removal of fats from the liver. It consists of 3 all natural amino acids. The combination of these amino acids support a healthy liver, aid in the processing of fat, and may participate in the action of serotonin (a neurotransmitter known to help control mood and appetite.)
These pharmaceutical grade injections have not been fully evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any diseases. Any injections or products provided by the Bio Balance & Weight Loss Center are to be used with the complete program.
All patients are required to take a two week break from the prescription appetite suppressant after three consecutive months of being on the program. There will be NO exceptions to this policy. Most people will build a tolerance to the appetite suppressants effects on weight loss. This two week break allows the body to lose the tolerance. It will also serve as a diet test period. If you are able to maintain or continue losing weight while off the medications, your diet is effective. If you begin to regain weight during the two week drug holiday, your diet is NOT effective. At this point, you need to reevaluate your diet to make the necessary changes. When the appetite suppressant is reintroduced, it should work again as it did in the beginning. During the two week break you may continue with supplemental injections, and have the option to purchase our non-prescription supplements such as Vitabese, LipoBC, Bio-Citrin and Super Energy to assist with weight loss and well-being. Please inquire about these supplements at the front desk, or with medical assistant.
